Products

The product line of Robot Control Software Ltd. contains software development tools, libraries and applications to develop relaible, robust, real-time and multi platform applications on the field of automation, industrial control, data acquisition, robotics and digital signal processing.

Here is the list of products with their short description. Please refer to their documention for details:

OopsLib: Object Oriented Property Stream Library introduce properies in C++, and provides a robust and scalable solution for object persistency.
rLib: This library collects a lot of basic and very usefull C++ classes like ASCII and binary streams, string classes, wrapper classes for file and directory handling, command line interpreter and command prompt, and some container template classes not included in Standard Template Library. This library is frequently used in all other products (except rMPL).
rMPL: Multi Platform Library provides a thin layer above the operating system and the standard C/C++ libraries to eliminate their differences. rMPL does not deal with graphical user interface, see rGUI! It is something like a 'knowledge base' of multi platform programming. Some basic library elements (exception classes, debug and trace library, classes for types such as 64 bit long integer, etc.) are also included into this library to keep rMPL independent of others. All other products use rMPL.
rGUI: FLTK is the multi-platform user interface library, what we found good enough for our purposes. The rGUI library is based on FLTK 2.0 and provides a class library of Graphical User Interface components with an absolutly platfrom independent interface and with property support. (This product has not released yet.)
rTools: This is a collection of utilities developed for and used in the every day work. You can find here the rLogin program for measuring the working time of programmers, the MakeMake utility for generating platfrom independent make files and the dependency lists of targets and much more.
rIDE: rIDE will be an Integrated Development Environment, which collects all development tools in one easy to use and straightforward environment. (This product has not released yet.)

RCS Ltd. took part in development of other software products. One of them, the Speech Corrector is also sold by RCS Ltd. and available from http://www.rcs.hu/BoxOfTricks
