Description

The spUSBfn peripherial contains an USB function controller based on the National Semocductors' USBN9603 chip. This supports the complete USB 1.1 standard up to 12MBps speeds. The chip features 3 transmit and 3 receive end-points over the mondatory end-point 0. A 64 bytes internal FIFO/end-point ensures sustained high-speed operation. The FIFO for end-point 0 is 8-bytes deep. The chip's versatile interrupt-driven operating modes can be fully utilized however the DMA support cannot be used as there is no DMA capability available over the SIMM-Sys bus.

The card supports 8-bit bus operations only.
